Matthew Willey- "The good of the Hive"
Matthew Willey's project to personally commit to hand paint 50,000 honeybees which is the number necessary for a healthy, thriving hive in murals around the world.
This inspired me to look into murals, patterns and the hexagon shape as well as more about how to raise awareness of honeybees and bees in general through my sculpture pieces, drawings and prints. It also made me want to try a bigger scale and show me that I can use and adapt to my surroundings..
