Fibre artist Moira has a reputation for creating striking, fascinating and unusual fibre art. Her work is inspired by nature and a desire to push boundaries whilst creating an impact to promote a greater understanding of human frailty. Her work invites interaction and personal confrontation with life and its unexpected pathways.

I really like Moira's work, especially the landscapes she creates with the felting capturing the moment of the day. Her sculptures are unusual but quite pleasant to look at. It's almost as if they have their own story or meaning which I really like. I like how her work is interactive for the viewer which is something I always the feeling and urge I want to create when presenting my work. I never thought about creating landscapes or images with wool. I think it is something I will consider trying within my project to see how it turns out. Probably try create small landscapes within the eggshell rather than everything being on the outer surface.
